![]() I think she's going to get a lot of interest. Londynn B has so much to offer and I want to hear more from her too. I'm glad he is relentless because I hope he gets his money because he's an inspiration. I thought that was strategic to use the contest as a self promotion platform. What else made D Smoke come out ahead?ĭ Smoke was a great pick and I like that he was chosen because it shows me kind of like where Rhythm and Flow could take it, since D Smoke wasn't the most gangsta rapper but the most conscious and that was cool.Įven though I was rooting for Flawless I feel like he did the best thing he could by showing the audience and potential record producers how versatile he could be. Like I know D Smoke's last song was unreal, but Flawless Real Talk's and Londynn B's songs weren't no slouch either. these are some talented, insightful judges, and I wanted to hear more. I appreciated that from earlier episodes. I did miss more footage on the production side, like what actually happened in the studio instead of like the producer just summarizing it. ![]() But like neither was as different or as like his own package as Old Man Saxon. Caleb Collossus had a lot of interesting material too. Troyman stepped up big time though and I appreciate that. I've been saying this a lot but like, he would've put on such a different show. When it came down to it I really missed Old Man Saxon. Incredible what they could come up with though and they really needed those professional producers that came in the last episode because there aint no way none of them had all of that up their sleeve already (choreography, stage production, like time management and stuff). This show wasn't really for amateurs, but like, seasoned players who could memorize their stuff and not give in to nerves or defeat when it happened. Guess it's kind of a blessing they got eliminated. Really don't think some of the earlier competition would've made it through much at all. Make a song, feature, make a song again with choreography and everything. Like honestly these finalists had to come READY. Liked all the challenges but those timelines are unbelievable. The winner will be crowned and given $250,000 and will be given an opportunity to perform on Spotify's Rap Caviar.Īmazing! Haven't been this excited by this kind of competition show like, in a long time. In the third and final week of the show, for episodes 8 through 10, viewers will catch the contestants offering samples and participating in collaborations with other major artists (Ty Dolla $ign, Jhené Aiko). and held preliminary auditions alongside musicians like Fat Joe, Big Boi, and Lupe Fiasco.įor episodes 5 through 7, the contestants participate in cyphers and rap battles, while also creating music videos to showcase their talent, lyrical prowess, and showmanship. Netflix premiered first 4 episodes of Rhythm + Flow, which followed the judges as they traveled to their respective hometown plus L.A. Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and Tip "T.I."
